Terms and Conditions

1. By registering for a guaranteed charity place(s) with Whizz Kidz for the Superhero Tri you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.
2. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit enough to participate in this event. If you are unsure about this in any way, you should seek medical advice or contact the Event Organisers. Please refer to the event organisers T&C's to determine if you need to declare any pre-existing medical conditions - Superhero Series
3. You acknowledge that by completing this form alone, you are not fully signed up to the Superhero Tri and that you will be required to complete a further form from the event organiser. Whizz Kidz will send you this infomratin which needs to be completed by Wednesday 15th July.
4. You acknowledge this is a fundraising event and pledge to raise the minimum sponsorship as stated, excluding Gift Aid, no later than one month after the day of the event.
5. Your place can only be used to fundraise for Whizz Kidz
6. The money raised through your participation in this event is unrestricted, meaning that Whizz Kidz can use it at a time and in a way that we deem best suited, to ensure we are able to continue delivering mobility equipment and services to the many young wheelchair users that rely upon us for support.
   You are aware and acknowledge that this event is not in any way organised or managed by Whizz Kidz. Please refer to the event organisers if the event is cancelled or postponed in all circumstances
7. You must only use lawful means to fundraise for the charity and must not do anything which harms or is likely to harm the charity’s brand or reputation.
   You acknowledge that if fundraising in a group that each participant is responsible for meeting their minimum sponsorship target
8. You acknowledge that charity places in events come at a cost to Whizz Kidz and therefore failure to raise any money for the charity will be at the charity’s loss.
9. You acknowledge that you will be contacted by mail, phone, SMS and post in relation to the event to ensure Whizz Kidz can deliver the necessary administration and communication required to enable your successful participation in the event.
10. All personal information you provide will be treated confidentially and will only be used in the capacity stated.
11. You acknowledge that by joining Team Whizz Kidz, you consent to the charity using photographs and video footage of you from any training days and race day in our promotional materials for publicising future events and the work of the charity, examples could include our website and social media channels.
